YOUTH

Real Faith. Real Friends. Real Life.

Our Youth Ministry at First Church of the Nazarene exists to help students in grades 6–12 grow in their relationship with Jesus, build lasting friendships, and discover their purpose in Him.

We know the teenage years are full of change, questions, and opportunities. That’s why we create a safe and fun environment where students can be themselves, explore their faith, and learn how to live it out in everyday life.

What to Expect:

  1. Weekly Youth Gatherings – Games, worship, teaching, and small groups that are relevant, encouraging, and rooted in God’s Word.
  2. Special Events – Retreats, game nights, service projects, mission trips, and more to build community and grow in faith.
  3. Discipleship & Mentoring – Caring leaders who walk alongside students, offering support, encouragement, and guidance.
  4. Opportunities to Lead – Students are encouraged to serve and lead in ways that match their gifts and passions.

Our goal is simple: to see every student come to know Jesus personally, grow in their faith, and make an impact in their world. We’re not just a youth group—we’re a family. And there’s always room for more.

DON’T LET ANYONE LOOK DOWN ON YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE YOUNG, BUT SET AN EXAMPLE FOR THE BELIEVERS IN SPEECH, IN CONDUCT, IN LOVE, IN FAITH AND IN PURITY.

1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV)

Our youth ministry exists to help students grow into confident, compassionate, and Christ-centered young men and women who know who they are in God’s story. In a world that constantly competes for their attention and identity, we want our youth group to be a place where students feel seen, known, and deeply valued. This is more than just a weekly gathering—it’s a community where teenagers can ask honest questions, build real friendships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives.

Our desire is for every student to develop a personal and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. Through engaging teaching, small groups, worship, and prayer, we aim to ground our students in biblical truth and help them build a faith that is not borrowed—but owned. We believe every student matters. No matter their background, personality, or where they are on their spiritual journey, there is a place for them here. We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where students can be authentic and supported by caring leaders and peers.

We encourage our youth to serve, to love boldly, and to be a light wherever they go. Through service projects, outreach opportunities, and everyday acts of kindness, we want students to see themselves as part of God’s ongoing work in the world. Our vision is simple: To partner with families, invest in students, and walk alongside them as they discover who God has created them to be.

We are excited about what God is doing in the lives of our youth—and we would love for you to be part of it.
